Okay - so I have  this weird thing about numbers....and I had this idea in my head.  MY  birthday  is  the  17th  of Feb....and  i was wanting to see if  I coud get  172    followers  by  my  birthday.  Lo and  behold this morning - I see I have  171   followers.....SO THAT MEANS I  NEED  JUST ONE MORE. 
Once we get to the  17th  Feb  I will be  drawing a  RAK  for some  lucky  followers-  so please if you arent  following already - !!!DO IT!!!!

What have I been doing?

Ive  scrapped up a  storm  this weekend -  kids behaving and  mojo in fine form - so here is  some   of what I have been  creating...

I know - Its  bad - I  have actually  done more than that - I did  three layouts  and some cards   for a DT  commitment  for Mad about  scrappin  and I have  started  the   third layout  for the retreat class I am  teaching in February  so I cant show those. 

Im pretty happy that Im  up to date  with  ATCs  ( for a little while!)  and I have  some   cool  new  kits  to  work  with too  for Scrap n Craft with T - so stay  tuned for that!!!

Out of the Hat January challenge

wahoo-  with  some DT  commitments  out of the  way - I got to do a layout this moring.  I havent  scrapped  in  SO LONG  ( for me anyway!)  that I am loving  being back in creative land!!!
I did this  for OUT OF THE HAT - the criterion are  circles,   striped paper and  1  word title.......and here she is....

My son Lachlan  at  Riverfire last September - my boys  spent  most of the night up trees.  Great photos!!

We are looking for someone who has an absolute passion for the craft, a versatile scrapper who can use a wide range of products and off the page items!!

This DT Position is for a 6 month period unless otherwise stated. You will need to complete a monthly kit. Class kits that require instructions may also be sent out during the 6 month period.


You will also have to complete any Blog challenges and Blog Cyber Crops that Mad About Scrappin may have.


You will need to have an up to date blog to be eligible for the DT Team


You will need to do the following


1) Tell us a bit about yourself. What is your style, your blog address, any other DT Teams that you may be on.


2) Send 2 current layouts. One that is your normal style and one that is a bit dfferent from what you would normally do.


3) Send a picture of a completed Off the Page Item

I have  been  with Leanne  at Mad about  scrappin  for  at least  19 months ....and I  can  HIGHLY  recommend  her   to work  for.  She is  easygoing,  funny  and  has been  an amazing support to me.

This was our 2009!!

SO  my January  DT   assignment for  enchantedscrapbooking  was to create  a mini  album   featuring   12 pics  from  2009!  I had  SO much  fun creating this - I  did it  in  2  days !!!!  The only  bits  I  added were ink, pen,  ribbon  - so the kit is  really  comprehensive and I have enough  for at least another layout so I am  going to make up some  instructions   for the layout  as well.  All that for only  $17!!!!   BARGAIN ....You get the Maya  Road album ,  all the papers and embellishments and  Basic Grey  lettering and full instructions!!

Okay -  this layout I started  last year and  have only  got around to finishing now -  too  busy - mad  Christmas and then we  went  away - so here   she is...I love  this paper and Sharon D  took  this   super cute  picture of Teleah  at Currumbin beach so I  went  with  this.  I love the Lets get shabby  challenge  blog  and try to enter each month.....I  just made it this month!!

Memories of Paris.....

So  Issue   74  of Scrapbook Creations  is out and  my  Paris  1990  layout is on Page 65 and Im  rapt that lots of my   scrapping girls are  in that  edition too!!!  Some of you may have   seen  this when I  first put it up on my  blog  but if you  didnt   - here  she is!!

In the  little   bling   circle  is  Shane -   TWENTY YEARS   AGO!!!!!

Im having  a  scrap day  at my place  with the  girls  tomorrow  so I cant wait - If you are  in  the Gold  Coast - Brisbane area and want to  join in -   send me a  message and Ill  give  you the  details!!!!

Mmmmm....Breakfast at Tiffanys......

Im so excited - Im in my first   overseas ATC   swap - with the  fabuous  people   at    scrapbooknewsandreview  .   The theme  is  Black and white  and   just  before Christmas I was inspired to make these......I love  Audrey Hepburn and   black and  white  are her  signature colours.  You'll have to excuse the  touch of red -  sneaky  glimmer mist - I  kept  this one  cos it got the  red  color - the  rest  are on their  way to the US  ....  what do you think?

I also   came  home from holidays  to  some nice  news...Scrapbook  Creations want  to  publish  some more of my layouts.... so I  think that means I am coming up in  74,  76  77  and  78???   Im not sure exactly - you' ll  just have to keep an eye out.....

Hi all -  I am still away and  have  access  for  24 hours.  I am  almost  through the  164  emails  - FAR OUT  and thought Id  drop by  ,  say Hi and tell  you what an AWESOME  time  we are having  at Airlie  Beach.   OMG - we have  done  SO  much -  seen turtles,  done  amazing   snorkelling, been up in a  helicopter,  went to Hamilton  Island,  Daydream,  Whitehaven  and Reef world .  What a  FANTASTIC   place.  I also  got to  go out  to Sharons  place  at  Collinsville  which  was  WAY  COOL .  Yesterday  we spent  the day  shopping together - Love  that  girl!!!
Still   a few  days  left and I  am not  ready to come home yet - having too much fun so I hope time   slows  down for a bit.  Havent  scrapped  , havent  scrap shopped and   havent even missed it - SO WATCH OUT   when  I  do  get  home !!!!   The   kids  have  been  AWESOME  -    legends  getting  ready  and  playing  beautifully -  even letting us sleep in   sometimes!!  And  my husband  is  the best   thing ever  -  we are  having  a ball -  20  years  together - ONLY  a  lifetime to go!!!
