Remember this moment

Loving this paper range -  how cool is the Kaiser Save the Date papers .  Tracy has such a great selection of products to coordinate with the papers too....makes it easy!!

I chose to scrap a photo from Teleahs 6th birthday .....I love using  a patterned paper for the background and this  tiny  pink banner paper  suited my purposes  perfectly!  I love layering and these papers have lots of great shapes and patterns and colours - the perfect mix for easy layering!!

I started with a block of the   Milestone   paper - and then overlapped it with the  gorgeous striped Invite paper.    I  used the Streamers  paper to matt my photo and placed this in the  middle of the other layered papers.

I then used some of the pieces from the Hip Hip papers to add the "If you obey all the rules " text and also the title I have used Remember this moment.

Finally from the strips of paper  I have added some extra  colour and patterns at the top and bottoms of the  patterned blocks of paper.

I loved the balloons on the Streamers paper so I could cut out some of the ballons.  I have then glued  fabulous twine in underneath the ballons before I adhered them to the page so it looks like the balloons are on strings!

I have also handcut the little  banner from the Hip Hip paper and added this to the top right side of the photo.  And just because I love them - I have also added a little rainbow charm!!  Tracy has such fabulous charms -  suitable for EVERY  occasion!!

I have also added a little icecream charm to the end of the twine on the balloon.

Finally I have added some doodling  around the edges of the papers  just to give them more adefinition and I have added a gorgeous Antique bronze timepiece .

SO do yourself a favour and head over to My2angels and  check out the fabulous papers and embellishments  Tracy has on offer!!!

Quick and easy Fathers Day cards

Fathers  day card ideas.....

Fathers Day  is not that far away -  and as a challenge Tracy gave me some sheets of the Kaiser Sears and Son “Moustache”paper.

So I am  going to give you some quick and easy  ideas to make some  Fathers Day cards or at least masculine cards!!!!

Now I am never going to claim to be a great card maker.  I am a scrapbooker who uses her scraps to create cards when she needs them for Birthdays, Christmas, Mothers day and Fathers Day etc!!!

With four kids my kids have an endless stream of birthday invites so I always have a quick and easy supply of cards ready to go!!

Here is the first card –  I have used the front and the back of the paper  to create the background and I used a diecut that I got  from one of Tracys boy embellishments kits and then I made my own  banner with twine and cardstock. I inked the edges and added the Jenny Bowlin stickers.

The next card I used the currently  popular  large banner to create some interest on the card and added some JennyBowlin stickers and some brads.  You may notice I have also added the strip across the front of the card using the cut off strip from the bottom of the paper.

For the final card I have again created a smaller banner and doubled it up with a kraft background and then the cool moustache paper and then added the square of Kraft with the DAD stickers!!

Yay – I now have cards for my Dad, my father in law and my husband!!!!  I’d love to see your  Fathers day creations – so  place  them in the My2angels gallery!!!!

Save the Date for a Happy Bitrthday!

My biggest challenge using these fabulous Kaiser Save the Date papers is whose photos to scrap – I have so many birthdays to choose from and the papers are  perfect for male or  female and young or old – so  I am loving them!!!

Today I have selected my daughters 6th birthday...I had these gorgeous photos to scrap and loved the colours in the papers!! Tracy has fabulous co-ordinating embellishments for the papers too so  today I am going to showcase some of them for you!!!

I have started with plain white cardstock as its a great  backdrop for the beautiful colours in the  papers!!  I also like to ink my papers to give them more definition on the white background.  Tracy has an awesome collection of inks instore Here!!

I have used the Streamers paper to cut a large banner and adhered it to the left side of the white card.  I have then used the Milestone paper as I loved the mini icy poles !!  To balance this I have then used the striped side of the Invite paper .

I also love papers where you can cut bits out and use them and in this instance I have cut out the Happy birthday  title and banner for the photo from the Hip hippaper.

I love ricrac – you can add it to anything and the shape and the colour  give your layout a pop!!  In this instance I have run a string of pink ricrac  across the bottom of the stiped paper – my photos will sit  just one  the ricrac.  I have even popped the smaller photo up on popdots  so the photo pops off the page.

I have then handcut the banners  and added them after I have adhered my photos.  This is your basic layout done and then  the fun bits – adding some  funky  embellishments to  distinguish your page!

I love the white stemmed star flowers and I have tied them together  with a little piece of twine – love the stuff!!!  To balance that I have then added a  cute  resin flower in white.

At the smaller photo I have used  one of the scraps of paper and stamped thepresent stamp and cut it out – I have then added pop dots tot he gift so it stands out from the page.  I love the Happy birthday  present pin and the  green  goes  so well with  the papers – I have slid this in behind the  stamped gift.

I have then adhered the cut out HappyBirthday and added  the  gorgeous rainbow charm – LOVE  these !!!  and a couple more resin flowers.

For me the journaling is important – I like to record the event and what my thoughts were when I scrapped the photo !  I think it adds to the memory!!

SO get instore and check out the amazing range of charms, ribbons, resin and flowers !!  Just for starters!!!

Birthdays in August!!!

A match  made in heaven....I have SO many birthdays in August when Tracy asked me to  have a play with the new Kaiser Save the Date papers - I cheered !!!!  I have my sister, my Mum, my son and my niece and an Aunt!!!!    Yeah I know - my  credit card hates  this  time of year!!!!

And this year my Mum turned 70 and my  son turned 13 so significant birthdays to be celebrated!!!!

I love the colours in these papers - seriously  they are fabulous  versatile papers - I have used them for my son and my Mum and they suit both !!  So today I will start with my sons layout......

I love white cardstock backgrounds but I cant help myself - I usually  have to mist them or ink them !!!  This one was  glimmer misted with fabulous green glimmer mist -  Tracy has the BEST  prices for mist - I promise!!!

I then cut the Milestone paper and drew around the outside edges  and adhered it to the left side of the cardstock.

I loved the Cheers  paper and the different  bits you could  cut from it - I  used the large scallop for Lachlans  birthday layout.  I have also handcut the "time to celebrate"  scallop journal box.

I then cut some of the pinwheels from the Cheers paper and using brads I created some little pinwheels.

I also handcut some of the balloons from the Streamers and raised these up on popdots.

One of the many things I LOVE  about Tracys store is that there are always   fabulous embellishments to add something  unique  to your layout.   In this case  I have added the  funky little Happy Birthday pins and a gorgeous  wooden button - I added some red twine and  a  cool  little ice cream charm .  To balance the red twine  on the button - I also  glued some loopy twine at the top of the layout  .

I love using the bonus strips of paper  you get with Kaiser papers now and I have used these on this layout  for added texture   with my pinwheels!!!
And here is the finished product!!!

I will be back later  with another birthday layout  featuring my Mummy!!!!!  In the meantime check out the fabulous range of papers HERE!!!!

and some more attitude!!!

Hi all,

Lisa here, back again with those fabulous Kaiser ATTITUDE! papers......

I love creating my own backgrounds, especially for my teenage boys - makes the layout that bit earthier and grungier!!

I started this layout by stamping the cardstock - using Kaiser stamps.....Tracy has a fabulous collection of Kaiser stamps and they are GREAT for creating backgrounds - so check them out HERE.
OOS stamps will be back in stock by 30th July

I then took some 2 inch squares of Kaiser Attitude! papers (Teenager - both front and reverse sides) and inked all the sides. I also cut out some of the circles (from the Individual paper) ....and inked those too.

I also love the manufacturer strips on the bottom of the papers, so I took those ... and applied those randomly to the page as well. Other bits - like the stars and arrows - are border strips from the 12 x 12 Sticker Sheet (oos).

I then placed my 6 x 4 portrait photo onto the layout and then adhered the circled cutouts (from the Individual paper) randomly around the page.....

I used the alphas from the Kaiser 12 x 12 Sticker Sheet (oos) to create the title and doodled around the edges to give it more emphasis.

I still have loads of paper and a couple of ideas for them, so I will be back next week with more ATTITUDE!!!!!!
